Trend Reports - Collections Fall Winter 2014 - 15

It's been awhile since my last post about trend reports. Today, I'll give you the report about Fall Winter 2014 - 15 collections. Mostly, I took the picture from Paris Fashion Week's runways. All pictures source taken from Vogue.

  • Clean  Cut

From left to right Holly Fulton, J - Crew and Rebecca Taylor
Looks like this are my personal favorite, and I guess everybody's favorite. Sleek hair, shirt, sweater, skirt, heels and coat. You can play a bit in accessories, such as statement necklace or a clutch will do. Or you can freely mix and match the color of each item. This simple look will take you, like almost everywhere. You can't go wrong with this one

  • Fear  Fur

From left to right, Roberto Cavalli, Marc Jacobs and Au Jour Le Jour
Since it's fall and winter, it will definitely relate to fur and leather. Let's talk about the fur first. I'm so excited with Au Jour Le Jour collection which makes fur no longer always be fur. Bright colors and playful patterns in a fluffy materials, (which for me is a rare thing in fall winter collections) deserves a thumb up.

  • Leather  Leader

From left to right, Balmain, Pedro Del Hierro Madrid and Neil Barrett
I don't think that I have to tell anything about leather. Almost every designer uses leather, and they're totally rock with it. Back then, most people just get used to leather jackets or pants, but now leather also has been transformed into dresses. On my opinion, somehow, both fur and leather are able to level up your whole looks. Try to imagine the difference when you're just wearing a plain white t-shirt plus jeans and a pair of black pump heels, then imagine if you're also wearing on a black leather jacket. The overall appearance becomes different right?

  •  ( Not - So )  Black  &  White

From left to right, Tod's, Sonia Rykiel and Victoria Beckham
Black and white never sounds that boring again! Not only this three designers who make it.

  •  Mad  Red

From left to right, Prabal Gurung, Tom Ford and Tadashi Shoji
I love red and I love dresses, so red dresses are one of my biggest crush. Red clothing shows sexiness, elegance and mysterious at the same time. It also makes your skin brighter. And for my personal thought, Tom Ford's makeup could be better.

  • Fairy  Tales  Never  Ends

From left to right, Manish Arora, RED Valentino and Olympia Le - Tan
Olympia Le - Tan's concept I think more about magician, but still cards and bunny head reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. Mr. Manish Arora always amazed me with his patterns and RED Valentino teamed with Disney for the snow white theme.

  • Head  Me  Up

From left to right ( Top ) , Tsumori Chisato and Vivienne Westwood
From left to right ( Down ) , Lanvin and Tommy Hilfiger
We got a lot different kinds of hats and I like them all. I never really choose hats as a complement to my appearance, but I think from now on, I will dare to try one (since they're looks so cute on the models right? )

  • To  The  Shoes  and  Bags

From left to right, Moschino, Fendi, Christian Dior and Balenciaga
I think handbags are still favorite for this season, and pointed shoes is also a must have item.

Thank you for reading and happy hunting! See you in the next post
